Also, I've yet to speak up about what's going on with Eclipse. I'm most likely sticking around, even though I rarely post anything. I'm most likely going to stick to YouTube for a bit until I can work things out, maybe start up a Twitter? I'm awfully averse to the platform but it's good for posting and sharing art, so who knows?

Hey guys, it's ya boy.

Let me make this clear right off the bat-- this is not an April Fool's Joke. It's just a badly timed post.

Apologies for not being active at all throughout March; the pandemic has hit me pretty hard. Haven't gotten sick (and chances are probably won't with my introverted lifestyle) but the residual stress and anxiety of possibly tens of thousands of Americans dying from this isn't doing me any good. It's just a bleak situation for everybody right now. As a result, I've been extremely depressed and thus less motivated to post anything.

But FEAR NOT! For I've gone through all stages of grief and I've decided this dark time will not stop me from doing what I love. I plan to make April a VERY active month. And that starts... with YouTube! That's right-- remember my last post? How I said I'm done with YouTube because of excessive terminations for violating NO guidelines?? I must have Stockholm Syndrome because I've decided to give it another chance. I totally will not regret this whatsoever!

So thus we get to the meat of this post; what do I mean by a YouTube resurgence? Well, I have quite a backlog of stuff I've never posted. That includes art and videos alike. While I'd like to post some of the art I have on my back burner here, a lot of it's old and dated (I've drawn a lot of BFB related stuff, which I'd like to get around to posting). As for videos, I've made tons of quaint little animations that I've shown to only a few friends, and at some point I'd like to show to you guys.

This includes... the pilot for an object show that people here may or may not have seen. It's titled Animated Inanimate Battle (don't accuse me of stealing the title, all originality in the object community is dead anyways). Very BFB inspired since I made it during BFB's relative infancy. I had uploaded it to my YouTube back in 2018, and I think some people saw it. But it unfortunately wasn't up long enough for me to even talk about it on my other social platforms. Didn't even make a journal about it, which was stupid but whatever. Well, I'm finally remedying this situation.

Starting tomorrow afternoon, I will be returning to YouTube and re-uploading this object show pilot for all to see! As well as several other videos and animations I've made over the last year that I think you guys will enjoy.

It's barely been a goddamn month too... I legitimately didn't do anything this time. If you were the few people that actually were subscribed to my account, I uploaded maybe seven videos, all of which followed Youtube's guidelines. Today I wake up, lo and behold my account has been terminated again, for the EXACT same reason the last one was!

Well hey, if I needed any more proof that Youtube is fucked as a website for aspiring content creators, here it is.
And hey, as a bonus, they disabled my Google Account too! Goin' one step further to make my life a living hell.
I don't even know how to combat this legally, this is such a fucking corrupt thing Youtube is doing, and I mean, I shouldn't really be too upset by it because, well, it's not like they severed my left leg or stabbed me in the balls, they deleted a virtual account.
But this is the SECOND TIME this has happened to me. Not only, but within a month of the previous one being deleted? I mean I'm not one to conspire, but I think someone might be out to get me... there's no way this is right.

Maybe someone out there is hacking my account and fucking with it while I'm asleep? Because while Youtube is pretty screwy they're not THIS picky. I mean, back when I had GatlingGroink57 before I personally deleted it, I uploaded way more suspect stuff and didn't get anything from it. Literally, the only thing I can think that happened was someone sought out my account, hacked into it (or they just got lucky with the login) and fucked with it until Youtube terminated it.
But on the off chance it really was just Youtube's incompetence, all I know is I'm done with Youtube's fucking terrible guidelines. If I can't create content without some dumb bullshit happening to me, then fuck it, I won't.
I'm sorry if you actually enjoyed what I was putting out; I did too. But sometimes you're just so powerless in a situation like this.
I might reupload my animations here, thankfully deviantART is more lax on it, but for now, don't expect any more Youtube shenanigans... unless some revolution breaks out or a new website comes along, I'm done with Youtube.
