List 'em #1: Top 20 Inanimate Insanity Contestants

#20: Box
You wanna know what one of my biggest pet peeves in object shows is? Having a character that does absolutely nothing other than for comedic purposes. Box is one of these characters. I've never wanted to punch something so hard for doing NOTHING. I don't care if Box was in just to see how long the viewers would keep it in, it was a waste of space and a waste of an actually GOOD character.

#19: Trophy
If you want to make a manipulative asshole character, that's fine, but you have to make it something more than that. Trophy isn't that. All he's done in his span on the show is blackmail Knife with his Dora doll. Wasn't he also a jock? Because he didn't actually do anything "jocky." Just another waste of a good character in my opinion.

#18: Dough
What was the purpose of this guy again? I'm including him on the list because he WAS originally going to be a contestant, and therefore should be ackowledged. But he did absolutely nothing other than chair rhymes, which is a stupid gimmick anyway.

#17: Baseball
I was actually excited that Baseball was coming back, but then I realized how boring he was. Other than he's fat gimmick there's not much to him. I really just don't like the guy.

#16: Paintbrush
Can we stop this already? I'm sick of the games. The whole gender gimmick was funny but now it's just irritating, and I know I'm not the only one. Other than that Paintbrush is bland, but to a lesser extent than Baseball.

#15: Cherries
What was with the sudden dark turn? Just becuase their joke wasn't found funny? That seems a bit extreme. Cherries definately lost my respect fast, and I was actually glad they got eliminated. The apology saved them a bit, but not enough to get out of my hate zone.

#14: Microphone
She seems more dedicated to try to impress everyone than actually be a compelling character. I really can't say much for her besides that she can get really straining on the ears, especially if you're wearing headphones.

#13: Suitcase
What's the best word to describe Suitcase? A mary sue? Yeah, that seems about right. She almost seems like the perfect girl; someone you can respect and look up to... and that disturbs me. She does have her moments but she seems too perfect I just can't seem to like her.

#12: Knife
Jerk characters usually don't settle too well unless there's something more to their personalities instead of just "BRAGH I'M MEAN I HATE EVERYONE." Knife was on the right track but more recently he's been slipping from my interest. I don't hate him, but I do think he could use some improvements.

#11: Apple
I used to really like Apple, but as soon as she and Marshmallow became friends, things started to slip. To be honest, I liked Apple better when she had a conflict with Marshmallow. Now she's just a desperate suck-up. And the newest episode proves it. I can see why Marshmallow would want to run away from her. Apple does have her moments though, so I can't bring her down too low.

#10: Marshmallow
I prefer Marsh over Apple just a bit more becuase at least Marshmallow is stable. She also has a lot of really funny moments, especially in the newest episode, Let 'em R.I.P. Although, she seems to be suffering the same fate as Knife, and is slowly slipping.

#9: Cheesy
I'm glad they stopped making Cheesy just a comedian and actually gave him a personality. He's still got a lot of work to do if he's gonna be a great character any time soon.

#8: Nickel
I can't decide if I like Nickel or not, he's the one character that I'm incredibly ambivalent about. Not much to say about him, I like some of his dialouge, but other times I don't. I'm just mixed about him.

#7: Lightbulb
Can you say Comedy Relief? Most of the time Lightbulb seems like she's just there for laughs, and most of the time she does get a laugh. A lot of time actually. Other times I'd wish she'd just shut up and do something useful. Although, I can't find myself to hate her.

#6: Fan
Here's a character I can relate to. Fan is definately the inner fanboy in all of us. When we get to be a part of the thing we like the most, this is who we are. Fan is supposed to represent a fan who gets to be on the show he likes but also knows when he needs to focus, and they handle it pretty well. Don't know what to say about that egg though...

#5: Yin-Yang
Yin-Yang is a really interesting character. I'm getting pretty sick of all the 2 in 1 characters, because they're not original in the slightest. Yin-Yang on the other hand is the OG 2 in 1. Before they were cool. His conflicting personalities really make for some hilarious banter, and it was a shame he got out recently.

#4: Balloon
I feel like they're trying to force me to like Balloon. In the more recent episodes Balloon always seems to be emotionally conflicted, and you can't help but feel bad for the guy. But much like Suitcase's "Mary Sue" type personality, this makes me feel uncomfortable. Balloon does make up for the fact he's a really funny at times, and he does have his moments, but other times he makes me feel uncomfortable.

#3: Test Tube
Hell yeah, Test Tube deserves this spot. Usually the nerdy personality is pretty hard to perfect, because you have to know when it's right for the character to show off her nerdy attributes and when it's right to just show her as something else, and they handled to really well. Test Tube is a hilarious character, and does have her moments. I definately think she's one of the best characters in II. Only outclassed by 2.

#2: Soap
Oh my god I love Soap. Not only do I think she's hilarious, but she's incredibly charming. I always love her whenever she's onscreen (and I couldn't help but feel bad for her when she made that awful pizza) and I really do think she has potential of being a character better than anyone in the original Season 1 cast. I do think she's that good. But there's only one character I love more than Soap.

#1: Tissues
Now, let me just get one thing straight here. Tissues was the first eliminated on the show. He didn't really have much of a personality developed at the time. The reason I put him on here, is because I think he had the most potential of being a great character. He was underrated. Tissues didn't deserve to go so early. He had the chance of becoming something better than he originally was, and it was shot down by the so called "fans."

But in all seriousness Tissues holds a special place in my heart. Tissues, in my opinion, is the most underrated character in any object show ever. He had the most potential, and he deserves all my respect for that. Tissues is my favorite character in Inanimate Insanity, bar none.
